Southwell landscape photography originally started back in 2013 when a new addition to the family came along. Wanting to capture the precious moments growing up, I decided to learn how to take photographs. Not knowing a thing about cameras, I turned to books and magazines to get my feet off the ground.    When reading, I came to a point where I couldn't get any further. Having no camera to work with? I looked on Wightbay for a secondhand DSLR to suit my needs, after several weeks of searching I was lucky enough to source a Nikon D7000 body and lens. I was now on my way to photography freedom....

Taking time each morning and evening trying to learn about the islands beautiful landscape, I found myself not knowing anything about weather, tide times and even how to change settings out in the field. Over time I managed to combat the elements and have a lot of luck whilst photographing iconic places around the island.

Fast forwarding to a couple of years later, Southwell landscape photography purchased its first wide format printer was installed at home turning the professional photographs seen by many in to a product. Starting from Canvases and photo mounts, Southwell landscape photography had entered in to an extremely saturated market. The ideas developed and after selling the wide format printer and changing styles, Glass art was born. Having trialling and testing for most of 2017, by the end of the year Glass art was seen at Oasis in Brading and now many homes. This was the future of wall art...

During this time, several clients have approached Southwell landscape photography for professional photographs for local businesses. Ranging from Professional head shots for companies, Business premises photo shoots to videoing the Festival and Bestival.
